ORION
About

We started Orion to fly the way we wanted to be flown with.

The 200–400 word origin story sits here once the operator confirms it. The plan reserves this as a "we believe" statement in the founder's own voice: why Orion was started, what the school is for, and what kind of flying it wants to teach.

Until the operator sends us their words, this page is a placeholder — but a deliberate one: we'd rather show a credible empty section than fill it with marketing copy nobody asked for.

Where we are

Jandakot, the busiest GA airport in the country.

YPJT — Jandakot — is the operational heart of general aviation in Western Australia. We're hangared on the field, maintained on the field, and the routes we fly start here.

How we fly

Three commitments.

01

We say no when we should.

Weather, fatigue, aircraft serviceability — we cancel before we compromise. The right number of cancellations per year is 'some'. Not zero.

02

We charge what flying costs.

If the rate looks too good, the school is either subsidising you, deferring maintenance, or about to put up the rate. We try to publish the real number.

03

We answer the phone ourselves.

The chief instructor takes calls. We think you should know who you're talking to before you put yourself in their aircraft.

Meet the people teaching you to fly.
